Infine è presente un'appendice etimologica con oltre cinquecento parole romagnole, che esistono solo in Romagnolo o tali che la stessa origine abbia dato luogo, in Romagnolo e in Italiano, a parole con diverso significato. Capita spesso che da una stessa parola latina derivi una parola romagnola che ne mantiene il significato concreto e una italiana, che si usa invece in senso astratto o figurato. Tutto ciò cercando di mantenere la maggior concretezza possibile, per fornire regole semplici e facilmente applicabili, utilizzando un linguaggio il più semplice possibile. Il presente volume intende contribuire ad accrescere l'attenzione che la Chiesa Cattolica riserva al confronto con la scienza, com'era negli auspici di Giovanni Paolo II e di Benedetto XVI.
