Barth Karl, Bromiley G. W. (EDT), Torrance T. F. (EDT) Title : Church Dogmatics
Author: Barth Karl, Bromiley G. W. (EDT), Torrance T. F. (EDT)
Publisher: Bloomsbury T & T Clark

Karl Barth's Church Dogmatics is one of the major theological works of the 20th century. The Swiss-German theologian Karl Barth (1886-1968) was the most original and significant Reformed theologian of the twentieth century. Barth began the Church Dogmatics in 1932 and continued working on its thirteen volumes until the end of his life. Barth's writings continue to guide and instruct the preaching and teaching of pastors and academics worldwide. The English translation was prepared by a team of scholars and edited by G. W. Bromiley and T. F. Torrance and published from 1936. A team of scholars at Princeton Theological Seminary have now provided the translation of Greek, Latin, Hebrew and French passages into English. The original is presented alongside the English translation. This makes the work more reader friendly and accessible to the growing number of students who do not have a working knowledge of the ancient languages. This new edition with translations is now available for the first time in individual volumes.

Barth Karl; Aguti A. (cur.); Aguti A. (cur.) Title : Filosofia e teologia
Author: Barth Karl; Aguti A. (cur.); Aguti A. (cur.)
Publisher: Morcelliana

Barth Karl; Rostagno S. (cur.); Rostagno S. (cur.) Title : L'Umanità di Dio. L'attualità del messaggio cristiano
Author: Barth Karl; Rostagno S. (cur.); Rostagno S. (cur.)
Publisher: Claudiana

Barth Karl Title : Pace e giustizia sociale
Author: Barth Karl

Barth Karl Title : Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Author: Barth Karl
Publisher: Queriniana

Barth Karl; Busch E. (cur.) Title : Momenti. Testi di meditazione
Author: Barth Karl; Busch E. (cur.)
Publisher: Queriniana

Barth Karl Title : Breve commentario all'Epistola ai Romani
Author: Barth Karl
Publisher: Queriniana

Author: Bartholomew Craig G. (EDT), Healy Mary (EDT), Moller Karl (EDT), Parry Robin (EDT), Botha Elaine (EDT)
Publisher: Zondervan

Biblical theology attempts to explore the theological coherence of the canonical witnesses; no serious Christian theology can overlook this issue. The essays in the present volume illustrate the complexity and richness of the conversation that results from attentive consideration of the question. In a time when some voices are calling for a moratorium on biblical theology or pronouncing its concerns obsolete, this collection of meaty essays demonstrates the continuing vitality and necessity of the enterprise. Richard B. Hays, George Washington Ivey Professor of New Testament, The Divinity School, Duke University, USAThis volume on biblical theology jumps into the fray and poses the right kind of questions. It does not offer a single way forward. Several of the essays are quite fresh and provocative, breaking new ground (Bray, Reno); others set out the issues with clarity and grace (Bartholomew); others offer programmatic analysis (Webster; Bauckham); others offer a fresh angle of view (Chapman, Martin). The success of this series is in facing the challenge of disarray in biblical studies head-on and then modeling a variety of approaches to stimulate our reflection. Christopher Seitz, Professor of Old Testament and Theological Studies, St. Andrews University, UK

Barth Karl Title : God Here and Now
Author: Barth Karl
Publisher: ROUTLEDGE

Karl Barth was, without doubt, one of the most significant religious thinkers of modern times. His radical affirmation of the revealed truth of Christianity changed the course of Christian theology in the twentieth century and is a source of inspiration for countless believers. Pope Pius XII declared that there had been nothing like Karl Barth's later thought since Thomas Aquinas. God Here and Now offers a succinct and accessible overview of that thought. In it, Barth outlines his position on the fundamental tenets of Christian belief, from the decision of faith to the authority of the Bible, and from the interpretation of grace to the significance of Jesus Christ. In this way Barth challenges each and every reader to discover what it means to encounter God, here and now.
