Cristo è morto, è risorto e tornerà. Per secoli, i cristiani hanno annunciato queste verità fondamentali. L'Apocalisse, sintetizza in apertura Stott offrendo quattro punti cardinali per l'interpretazione, 'è carica di simbolismi', 'affronta il passato, il presente e il futuro', 'celebra la vittoria di Dio' e 'si concentra su Gesù Cristo'. A partire da questa premessa la profezia dell'Apostolo Giovanni viene suddivisa in dodici capitoli impostati per argomenti: ogni capitolo è corredato di domande per la riflessione personale e comunitaria, spunti di applicazione e suggerimenti per la preghiera mentre, come di consueto, in appendice vengono fornite le linee guida per i conduttori, con utili suggerimenti anche per chi non ha mai guidato un gruppo di studio.

Restare saldi nella verità, per custodire fedelmente il Vangelo e annunciarlo al mondo. Consapevole della diffusa apostasia dei suoi tempi e di essere ormai prossimo al martirio, Paolo esorta il giovane Timoteo a custodire fermamente il vangelo, per poterlo annunciare al mondo con coraggio. Contenuto Nel 1974, a Losanna, si tenne il primo Congresso Mondiale sull'evangelizzazione del mondo che raccoglieva tutto il cristianesimo evangelico di tutto il mondo.
