Evil Dead 2, arrivano per la prima volta in Italia i fumetti tratti dalla serie cinematografica diretta da Sam Raimi, con le avventure di Ash Williams, eroe del genere horror tornato recentemente alla ribalta con la serie televisiva 'Ash vs Evil Dead' - che fa riferimento ai primi due capitoli della saga, ignorando il viaggio temporale compiuto da Ash nel terzo capitolo cinematografico. Ash, personaggio iconico dell'immaginario fantastico interpretato dall'attore Bruce Campbell, esordisce nel film 'La casa' ('The Evil Dead'), diretto nel 1981 da Sam Raimi, che nel giro di pochi anni si trasforma in un cult movie tra i più amati e osannati del genere. La serie a fumetti, pubblicata in America dalla Space Goat Publishing (SGP), è scritta da Frank Hannah e disegnata da Barnabay Bagenda e Oscar Bazulda, e segue la vita di Annie, la quale non muore, come invece ci viene rivelato nel finale del secondo film, ma sopravvive grazie a un incantesimo. La stessa Annie, però, si ritrova come Ash in un'altra dimensione, ma che non coincide con quella dove è stata catapultato Ash.
