Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning
Book (italiano):
The Seattle Study Club has chapters worldwide and sees its mission as a "university without walls"--encouraging interdisciplinary treatment planning and a commitment to the highest possible clinical standards. The approach is to view each case individually, eschewing "auto-pilot" treatment. A previously published first volume (2008), emphasized the principles of master clinicians. This second volume consists of 19 case studies that further demonstrate and illustrate those principles. The lavish presentation consists of an oversize volume (10x13") and a separate folder with charts printed on acetate designed to be placed as overlays on the pretreatment charts in each chapter. The volume's cover image and endpapers were thoughtfully chosen, the page design is spacious, and the images supporting the text are quite large and clear. Among the cases: include significant maxillary anterior bone loss, papilla between adjacent implants, biometric determinants of tooth and gingival esthetics, orthodontic and restorative management of anterior wear, and smile design from digital treatment planning to clinically reality. Editor Cohen is affiliated with the U. of Washington School of Dentistry. The volume concludes with a listing of Seattle Study Club chapters worldwide.
