Chicano Art for Our Millennium
Book (italiano):
Serving in part as a catalog to an exhibition of the same name, this work is a retrospective of decades of graphic art produced in association with six major Chicano art centers and cooperatives in the U.S. Southwest. In the form of some 120 color plates, primarily consisting of reproduction of posters, the art addresses themes of community values, cross-border and cross-cultural experience, and spirituality. The text also includes and educator resource which can be used to guide classroom discussion about the works. Annotation ©2004 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
