Mottaz (the director of an alternative school in Wisconsin) presents curriculum outlines for high school classes that she believes meet the common required standards for most states, for use in alternative or home schooling. The entirety of the material is based on the use of textbooks (written at a fifth-grade reading level) and software from two large educational companies. Step-by-step outlines instruct students to read chapters from the textbooks and take quizzes from the textbooks and software.
