Outline of a Phenomenology of Right
Book (italiano):
Influential post-war French philosopher Kojéve (1902-68) uses the French word droit, which can be translated as either right or law, and Frost (political science, U. of Louisiana-Lafayette) and Howse (law, U. of Michigan) preserve the French word to allow English readers to choose between meanings. He wrote this essay in the summer of 1943, and though he declared himself satisfied with it, in remained unpublished until 1982 when Editions Gallimard, Paris brought it out as Esquisse d'une phénoménologie du Droit.
