Authors Gentry, Wiley, and Torres-Feliciano present students, academics, and professionals working in a wide variety of contexts with a therapy manual for working with autistic children between ten and twelve years of age. The authors have organized the main body of their text in eleven chapters devoted to creating a therapy program, weekly rituals, initiating friendships, figurative language, and a wide variety of other related subjects. Betholyn F. Gentry is a faculty member of the University of Arkansas. Pamela Wiley is a speech-language pathologist in private practice in California.
