For the pieces in <I>Earth Extremes</I>, Waldgovel situates his point of view in space, using photography and digital imagery to examine our world within the solar system. In <I>Top of the World</I>, for example, Waldvogel imagines approaching the Earth from another galaxy, as though he was an alien traveling from another planet. In another, Waldgovel imagines Galileo's fate had he the opportunity to observe the Earth from the Moon. Combining science with art and imagination, <I>Earth Extremes</I> offers readers a glimpse of what it's like to travel through the final frontier.</P></DIV></DIV>
