The Accumulation of Capital
Book (italiano):
First appearing in 1913 as Die Akkumulution des Kapitals , this work is considered by some to be Marxist economist Luxemburg's magnum opus. After describing the theoretical problem of the reproduction of capital, she looks at the work of other economists, commenting (sometimes sarcastically) on their contributions to theory. She then turns her attention to the historical effects of accumulation, arguing that capitalist accumulation requires the invasion and exploitation of primitive economies. An introductory essay presents a simplified version of her argument that also explains some of the Marxist terminology. This edition reprints the 1951 English edition.
