The face has inspired artists around the world for millennia, and Japan's Noh theater has provided a complex domain for exploring human emotion. Inspired by these practices, <i>Traditions Transfigured</i> examines fourteen contemporary works by Noh mask-maker and artist Bidou Yamaguchi.
