X-planes of Europe
Book (italiano):
X-planes were individual aircraft projects designed to test new concepts and technologies, created in secret aviation research in Europe after WWII. Aviation historian Buttler and aviation photographer Delezenne draw on recently unclassified material to describe specific makes and brands of aircraft and give details on their design teams and test pilots. Aircraft are illustrated with b&w and color photos. The book includes a glossary and a list of museums exhibiting surviving airframes from X-planes. The book is distributed in the US by Specialty Press. Annotation ©2012 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
