On Listening to Holocaust Survivors
Book (italiano):
The second edition of this text on holistic approaches to Holocaust survivor interviewing provides an updated preface as well as a new final section on the extension of the techniques discussed in the work to survivors of other genocides and persecutions. The work discusses a system of listening that involves aspects of clinical psychology and a focus on the whole person of the survivor as well as the context of the telling of their account. Numerous quotes from survivors are included throughout to illustrate key points of the methodology. Greenspan is a professor of psychology at the University of Michigan.
