Shipment
In order to satisfy our customers’ needs, our shipment methods are manifold:
Shipment in Italy:  Parcel with receipt Parcel delivered by express courierShipment abroad: Parcel delivered by express courier Parcel delivered by air mailYou can choose between single and multiple shipment. If you decide to receive all the items ordered by single shipment, UNILIBRO will send the products to the customer as soon as the items ordered are available; on the other hand, if you decide to receive the items ordered by multiple shipment, each item will be sent as soon as it is available. With reference to art. 6 of the Italian law D.L. May 22nd 1999 n. 185, considered as order every single item required, UNILIBRO can process the order within 60 days of receipt of the order itself, starting from the day after receipt. With regard to the users who select single shipment for all order placed at the same time, in compliance with the above-mentioned article, we are compelled to send the items already available and held over, at expiration of the 60th day from the following day after orders receipt. The items missing, that are probably difficult to find, will be subsequently sent charging the shipping costs on the basis of the delivery method selected upon order. Please don’t mix up the delivery time T (delivery) (which depends on the selected delivery method) with the time needed to deliver the product to the purchaser T (total delivery time), which is made up of the delivery time and the supplying time of the products ordered in case they were not available on stock. Maybe the following mathematical expression can clarify the above-mentioned concept: T (total delivery time) = T (delivery) + T (supplying) T (supplying) generally differs from zero. Shipment in Italy:
Parcel with receipt Shipment takes place through the Italian Mail Service: for this type of shipment the costs are very low, but the delivery time depends on the technical times of the national mail service. € 4,30 per item for multiple shipment (rate until 20 Kg) € 4,30 in total (rate until 20 Kg) for single shipment. T (delivery): 6 days from the shipping date. In case we decide to pay cash on delivery, the charge is € 6,30 per shipment (rate until 20 Kg) for multiple shipment or € 6,30 in total (rate until 20 Kg) for single shipment. Parcel delivered by express courier The delivery takes place through an express courier which delivers all over Italy within 24/48 hours (working days). € 3,50 per item for multiple shipments (rate until 5 Kg) € 3,50 in total (rate until 5 Kg) for single shipment. For the regions Calabria and Sicily the rate is € 0,00 per item (rate until 5 Kg) for multiple shipment or € 0,00 in total for single shipment (rate until 5 Kg). For Italian islands and Venice area the rate is € 0,00 per item (rate until 5 Kg) for multiple shipment or € 0,00 in total for single shipment (rate until 5 Kg). In case we decide to pay cash on delivery, the above-mentioned rates will be increased as follows: € 6,50 for every single shipment in case of multiple shipment or € 6,50 in total for single shipment; for Calabria and Sicily’s citizens, € 0,00 for every single shipment in case of multiple shipment or € 0,00 in total for single shipment; for citizens of other Italian islands and the Venice area, € 0,00 for every single shipment in case of multiple shipment or € 0,00 in total for single shipment; Shipment abroad:
Parcel delivered by express courier The delivery charge through express courier strongly depends on the destination country. € 16,10 (fixed shipping costs) + € 6,20 per item to be delivered in Western Europe € 44,50 (fixed shipping costs) + € 15,50 per item to be delivered in Eastern Europe € 17,15 (fixed shipping costs) + € 7,75 per item to be delivered in the US and Canada € 35,75 (fixed shipping costs) + € 14,50 per item to be delivered in all the other countries. T (delivery) is around 1-2 working days for Western European Countries, 2-4 working days for US and Canada, 3-6 working days for all the other countries. Parcel delivered by air mail This shipping method is exclusively used for deliveries made outside the Italian territory. € 14,00 per item (rate until 2 Kg) everywhere in the world. T (delivery) depends on the destination country. Purchase of foreign books (Amazon.com) With regard to the “Foreign books” service, we highly recommend you to check the shipping costs from Amazon to UNILIBRO and from UNILIBRO to the final customer; these are listed in the chart which appears during the purchasing process at Amazon through UNILIBRO. |
